Established in 1985, the Oman International Exhibition Centre (OIEC) is the ideal venue for major trade fairs and exhibitions in the Sultanate of Oman. It offers up to 12,000 square meters of indoor exhibition space and it has enough parking spaces for over 2,500 vehicles. The Venue for Our Future Exhibitions.

OMRAN Development will be building a new, world-class convention center that is expected to be completed in 2013.  It will include a 6, 000-seat convention and exhibition centre consisting of 20 meeting rooms, 10 interpretation booths, 250 lounge seats, restaurants and other recreational facilities. It also includes 3, 4 and 5-star hotel rooms, a shopping mall, a 30, 000-square meter exhibition and multi-user sports centre and a low rise 70-square meter park.
